A pivotal moment

This is it. Right here. The decision to make a change and do something different. We have just returned from a weekend of inspiration and positivity at Yestival – the brainchild of the utterly brilliant YesTribe leader Dave Cornthwaite (www.sayyesmore.com). The weekend was absolutely jam-packed with awesome adventurers speaking and sharing their crazy stories of challenge, adventure, over-coming adversity, and frankly, a lot of chat about poo. But the message was clear: say yes, don’t put off your ideas but act on them; be brave, grit your teeth and just do it. Just one day since returning and the ‘bigadventurefamily’ has been born. I mean, we’ve been around for a while, but our online persona, blog/webpage and social media presence is now up and running. It is a way to both share the adventures that we are already doing, but importantly a vehicle by which to ensure we continue to get ourselves out there, challenge ourselves and seek out adventure every single day. And I have to say, I’m excited. Are you on board? In the words of Thomas Jefferson “never put off till tomorrow, what can be done today”. Boom.

We are a small family who love big adventures. Our aim is to get outdoors, travel, explore, and live our lives adventurously. We choose to define our lives by the richness of the experiences that we have had rather than by the stuff that we own.
