Happy Christmas from The Big Adventure Family!

We must have all been good this year because Father Christmas really came up trumps…..

The Big Adventure Family are now happy and proud new owners of some shiny new mountain bikes! Lucky us!

Not being great materalists, we didn’t want to presents for the sake of presents this Christmas, but wanted to give each other something that would aid our adventures. We haven’t owned mountain bikes since some meany had the audacity to steal them from right outside our house when we lived in Sydney, but we’ve been wanting to get back on two wheels ever since. Hence, bikes seemed the perfect Christmas gift this year and a great way for us to get out exploring new places on our X County Challenge.

So, we saved hard and the family chipped in and now Morts is the proud new master of a GT Avalanche Comp (2016), which he loves, and I am the happy new owner of a Specialized Jynx 650B (2016) who is bright and beautiful! Little O is also absolutely delighted with his cuter-than-cute and super cool Claud Butler Blast 12 (thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa!) Happy days!

Right – now it’s time to pump up those tyres and head out on an adventure. Oh… and perhaps teach Oskar to ride a pedal bike!

What awesome adventurous pressies did you get this Christmas?

We are a small family who love big adventures. Our aim is to get outdoors, travel, explore, and live our lives adventurously. We choose to define our lives by the richness of the experiences that we have had rather than by the stuff that we own.
